The Job: . Global Supply Chain Strategy Office has mobilized a cross-functional business team to design, shape, and execute a more innovative and customer-focused strategy. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Analytics Manager to join our Global Supply Chain Strategy team. This role will be responsible for enabling and accelerating data-driven decision making within the Supply Chain Development team.. This is a remotely based role that will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Development. Although the role is remotely based, it may involve some travel, and the successful candidate will need to be able to travel alone or as part of a group, without restrictions.. You’ll get to: . Access Stanley Black & Decker’s supply chain data: this position will help project teams identify what data is available for their needs, where, with what level of quality/consistency and will provide the data itself.. Build an overview of data gaps in the supply chain and share the outcome and insights to leadership including data unavailable, data incomplete, inconsistent, and inaccuracies. . Support the teams on analytical methodologies: statistical analysis, models architecture, scenario modeling, reuse of content or models from other projects. Build innovative visualizations of the data to help build recommendations and educate the organization on gaps and opportunities . Build automated reports to monitor projects’ execution progress and track delivery of benefits. Liaise with the Supply Chain Development team and other supply chain functions to align on objectives and timelines for projects. Monitor trends in supply chain data analytics and visualization in the industry. The Person: . You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analytics, finance or related discipline required. 4+ years of related experience in a data analytics role is required. Strong analytical skills with high level of comfort with data; using data to provide insights to advice and influence business decisions.. In particular, strong proficiency on Powerpoint, Excel modelling, SQL query design, PowerBI and dealing with supply chain systems and data lakes. High level of personal and professional integrity and ethics (authentic, compassionate, genuine and honest); good listening skills and problem solver.. Business and financial acumen - In-depth understanding of SBD operating model, businesses and supply chains.. Able to evaluate scenarios and implications of complex decisions and how to leverage key stakeholders to drive fast, efficient and effective business process and results..
