The Main Street Health Data Operations Analyst I will be an integral part of the Data Team in supporting and improving processing capabilities, data analysis and reporting. This role will center around supporting inbound data operations and mining complex data for valuable insights to support the team in making high quality, data driven decisions. The ideal candidate is curious, detailed oriented and has a knack for identifying patterns and data quality issues within sprawling, variable data sets. As an analyst on health care data sets, this role will work closely with data engineers and client facing team members, collaborating often across data, development, product, business development, and other functions to ensure data is utilized effectively. The data analyst will help ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by following, documenting and helping to refine data process and procedures. In this role, we expect you to have strong logical reasoning skills and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively. . . Responsibilities:. . . Monitoring daily scheduled data operations. . Writing SQL queries and troubleshooting data anomalies. . Validating completeness and accuracy of payer data and reporting out data requirement gaps. . Learning to become a subject-matter-expert on claims, eligibility, and inpatient authorization datasets. . Creating and monitoring metrics related to payer data quality and day-to-day operations. . Collaborating with data engineers to automate and scale data processing capabilities. . Identifying and communicating potential data impacts on downstream systems and data consumers. . . . . Qualifications:. . . . . Experience working with a database directly, some experience creating or altering objects. . SQL skills, ability to aggregate and analyze large data sets involving multiple tables and subqueries. . Knowledge working with reporting tools to create and maintain dashboards / reports. . Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. . Must be self-motivated and a self-starter who works well under pressure. . Must be highly organized with demonstrated ability to multitask and manage a high volume of requisitions. . Requires superb communications skills, both verbal and written. . Ability to build and maintain relationships. . Applicable B.S. or equivalent technical school certification . . Working knowledge of data mining principles is preferred: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. . SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries. . Familiarity with analytical concepts and basic statistical techniques. . Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions. . Strong ability to manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously. . . . .
