Reporting to the VP of Analytics & Data Science, the Staff Analytics Engineer will help build the foundation for scalable, reliable, and high-impact advanced analytics at Forma.ai. Working with diverse data from customers across a variety of industries, you’ll build and optimize code for big data . pipelines. , architectures, and data sets. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders within the business to scope out areas where the team can bring additional value, while managing competing priorities. . . . . What you'll do:. . . Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using . PySpark. and Databricks. . Design and maintain clean, well-structured data models to support analytics and reporting. . Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality, actionable datasets. . Lead technical initiatives to improve data infrastructure, performance, and reliability. . Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data quality, testing, and governance. . Contribute to long-term data architecture and strategy . . . . . What we're looking for:. . Required:. . . Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a closely related field; familiarity with APIs is a strong asset.. . Advanced proficiency in PySpark and/or Databricks, with a deep understanding of performance optimization and modern data lake architectures.. .
