What You’ll Do:. • Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and models using Snowflake, Matillion, Informatica, Python, and SQL. • Manage and enhance our cloud-based data ecosystem, orchestrating both streaming and batch data flows from systems such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and legacy databases. • Oversee access control, data governance, and platform reliability to ensure secure and timely data access. • Mentor engineers and guide project execution through technical leadership and knowledge sharing. • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align data priorities and support reporting platforms like ThoughtSpot and Qlik. • Participate in an on-call rotation (every 5–6 weeks) to triage and resolve overnight data pipeline issues. • Promote best practices in data engineering including automation, version control, and performance tuning. • Support modernization efforts by helping transition legacy systems to cloud-based infrastructure and DBT-based transformations. What You Bring:. Required:. • 5–7 years of experience deploying production code in a data engineering or application development environment. • Expertise with Snowflake and at least one orchestration tool (Matillion preferred). • Strong coding experience with Python and SQL. • Familiarity with DataOps tools such as Git and DBT, and cloud environments like AWS. • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. • Experience mentoring peers and leading technical initiatives. Nice to Have:. • Experience managing user permissions and access within Snowflake. • Background in legacy system migrations or hybrid cloud environments. • Familiarity with BI tools such as ThoughtSpot and Qlik. • Prior experience in a lead, principal, or senior data engineering role.
