The Role. As Director of Curriculum for the Data Engineering Level 5 programme, you will take ownership of an existing, successful apprenticeship programme. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and continuously improving programme content, refining delivery strategies, and optimising the learning journey to ensure exceptional learner outcomes.. This senior role requires active collaboration with stakeholders both internally and externally, including Product Management, Marketing, Professional Development Experts (PDEs), and End-Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs). You will lead ongoing enhancements to curriculum design, ensuring the programme remains innovative, relevant, and aligned with evolving industry standards and apprenticeship guidelines.. You will update and produce essential documentation for the programme, such as programme guides, curriculum outlines, and EPA preparation materials, as well as supporting PDE teams through targeted training and resources.. Responsibilities:. . Continuously maintain, refine, and enhance the existing Data Engineering Level 5 curriculum and create new content when required.. . Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Product Management, Marketing, PDE teams) to maintain programme relevance, coherence, and market alignment.. . Regularly liaise with external stakeholders including EPAOs, ensuring alignment with current assessment requirements and standards.. . Update and produce high-quality programme documentation, including programme guides, curriculum structures, and supporting materials.. . Enhance interactive e-learning content and restructure workshops to maximise learner engagement and effectiveness.. . Continuously refine EPA preparation strategies, ensuring strong learner outcomes.. . Provide training and support to PDEs to ensure effective programme delivery and understanding.. . Act as the primary expert and point of contact for curriculum-related queries, providing guidance and strategic direction.. . About You:. Essential:. . Significant experience in curriculum maintenance, content improvement, and strategic programme leadership.. . Expertise in data engineering concepts and industry standards relevant to the Level 5 apprenticeship.. . Experience producing and refining comprehensive curriculum documentation (programme guides, course outlines, assessment plans).. . Demonstrable ability to manage stakeholder relationships across internal and external teams.. . Proven track record in refining assessment strategies and ensuring successful End-Point Assessments.. . Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects effectively.. . Excellent communication, collaboration, and training skills.. . Desirable:. .
