This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.. Responsibilities:. Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards with high business impact.. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data from various sources for analysis.. Integrate data from various sources, including Azure Synapse, SharePoint, SQL databases, and Databricks to power analytics solutions.. Collaborate with business partners to gather and understand data needs, particularly in operational contexts.. Apply advanced DAX to create dynamic calculations, critical metrics, and measures within Power BI.. Serve as a key partner in business analysis to translate operational needs into technical reporting solutions.. Proactively find opportunities to streamline processes and improve data visibility for operations and other key business units.. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and share knowledge across the team.. Handle multiple project timelines and priorities independently, ensuring alignment with business objectives.. Communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical partners to ensure alignment and clarity.. Apply Lean thinking principles to identify inefficiencies and propose practical, data-informed improvements.. Solve and performance-tune Power BI solutions for scalability and responsiveness.. Qualifications:. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience preferred.. 6+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying Power BI solutions with deep knowledge of DAX and SQL.. Solid background in working with operational data and a preference for candidates who have supported operations teams or functions.. Experience with data integration across multiple sources including cloud-based databases.. Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently and creatively in complex data environments.. Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.. Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort interacting across business and technical teams.. Experience with Python and/or R for data transformation, statistical analysis, or automation is a strong plus.. Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable..
