Engineering Manager at True Talent Solutions Partners. Remote Location: Palo Alto. About the Role. This is an Engineering Manager role leading one of the core product engineering teams at a B2B SaaS company modernizing software for local governments. You will be a hands-on technical leader and force multiplier, setting direction, mentoring engineers, and shaping the product roadmap as the company scales.. What You'll Do. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 3 to 7 software engineers, supporting their career growth and development.. Partner with product and other functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap for core products.. Stay hands-on, spending 20 to 30% of your time on coding, code reviews, and architectural design.. Guide critical architectural decisions to ensure systems are scalable, performant, and maintainable.. Champion high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and overall engineering excellence.. What We're Looking For. 7 to 15 years of total engineering experience, with at least 5 years as an individual contributor and demonstrated people management experience.. Proven track record building and shipping production systems while leading technical teams.. Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Python; experience with Kotlin or Go is a plus.. Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.. Experience building and shipping customer-facing products in production environments.. Strong tenure history, ideally averaging 3 to 4 or more years per role, demonstrating sustained impact.. Early-stage or resource-constrained startup experience.. Hands-on experience integrating AI development tools (such as Claude, Cursor, or similar) into engineering workflows.. Comfort with approximately 10% customer-facing travel within the US.. Must be located in the US and able to work US time zones.. Compensation & Benefits. Salary range: . $165,000 to $205,000 USD annually.. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.. Location.
