We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Employment Lawyer to join our Legal Department. The Employment Lawyer will play a critical role in ensuring that Everfield complies with all applicable employment law requirements specific to the software and private equity industry. This position involves drafting the employment and B2B contracts implementing and monitoring internal policies and providing specialized legal guidance on employment-related matters.. Key Responsibilities. · Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on employment law issues, including employee contracts, terminations, and relevant workplace policies.. · Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements such as, employment and management contracts, severance agreements, non-compete clauses, confidentiality agreements.. · Ensure compliance with all applicable labor and employment laws and regulations.. · Conduct or support internal investigations related to employee complaints, misconduct, or discrimination allegations.. · Represent or support the company in employment-related disputes, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation, either directly or in coordination with outside counsel.. · Advise on HR practices and training to minimize legal risks.. · Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in employment law and update internal stakeholders as needed.. · Collaborate with HR, compliance, and leadership teams to ensure best practices and legal adherence.. · Develop excellent template contracts and knowledge resources.. · Other ad hoc matters related to the applicable employment laws.. Qualifications and Skills. · Master of Laws from an accredited law school.. · Admitted to practice law in one from the European Union Jurisdictions. · 3 to 5 years of experience practicing employment law, preferably in both law firm and in-house settings.. · Previous experience in managing the relationships with external law firms. · Ability to manage the workload independently. · Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.. · Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.. · High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.. · Ability to take initiative, work independently, and achieve results without constant supervision in a remote environment.. · Experience in providing support to senior staff.. · Understanding and capability to work in a cross-cultural working environment.. · Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to identify, focus and prioritise key legal/compliance matters.. · International mindset and experience working across multiple jurisdictions.. · Fluent English-speaking skills.. · IT literacy, including Microsoft Office experience..
