About the Role. Dandy is looking for a world class Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to help us build and scale our manufacturing processes to create industry leading dental products. This role, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Advanced Manufacturing, will be a key member of the advanced manufacturing team driving the development of new machines and processes needed for Dandy’s continued growth and success.. What You’ll Do. Collaborate with 3rd party integrators and internal engineering teams to scale R&D solutions into high volume production processes. Drive process development work to quickly solve problems and optimize for cost, quality, and efficiency. Participate in FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and other commissioning activities. Activities may include writing machine specifications, evaluating proof of concept systems, conceptual machine design, developing process DOEs, and root cause analysis. Develop, validate, and document manufacturing process improvements including automation, equipment utilization, fixture design, etc.,. Collaborate with broad range of technical expertise throughout the company. What We're Looking For. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred). Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), process development, and equipment design. General knowledge of plastics manufacturing and processing methods (thermoforming, injection molding, CNC machining, spray finishes). Excellent organizational and communication skills. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, or R&D.
