Our client is looking for an Engineering Lead to drive delivery and people leadership across one or more product squads.. This role combines engineering management, delivery ownership, and technical alignment. It is a leadership position focused on enabling predictable execution, team performance, and scalable technical decisions.. The role is non-hands-on — you are not expected to write code, but you must bring strong technical depth and the ability to review architecture and system design.. Key Responsibilities. Lead and develop software and QA engineers through 1:1s, feedback, growth planning, and performance reviews. Own delivery outcomes across 1–3 product squads, ensuring predictable execution and milestone achievement. Shape and improve delivery rituals (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives). Provide technical oversight by reviewing architecture and system design decisions. Ensure quality, scalability, security, and observability standards are maintained. Use delivery metrics (including DORA and sprint health indicators) to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with Product leadership to align scope, priorities, and expectations. Manage cross-team dependencies and act as an escalation point when needed. What We’re Looking For. Proven experience leading engineering teams in a product-based environment. Experience owning delivery across multiple squads or complex product areas. Strong understanding of modern tech stacks (Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS/Kubernetes preferred). Experience working in a SaaS product organization. Strong communication skills in English. Experience collaborating closely with Product and QA functions. What Success Looks Like.
