We are seeking a highly skilled HR Specialist – HRIS & Operations to serve as the operational backbone of our People function. This pivotal, remote role centers on ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all HR data, systems, and workflows in a complex, multi-state healthcare environment.. What You'll Do: Systems, Data, and Compliance. As the HR Specialist, you will be responsible for the integrity and efficiency of our HR infrastructure, including:. HRIS & Data Integrity:. Manage all critical HR data, including regular uploads and updates within our primary HRIS (Rippling). Use advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.. Regulatory Compliance:. Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and healthcare-specific regulations (including HIPAA and patient privacy). Manage compliance trackers, such as I-9 E-verify (conducting bi-weekly audits) and required training records (e.g., NY Mandated Reporter).. Operational Workflows:. Maintain and update all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR processes, ensuring consistency and scalability across the organization.. Payroll & Benefits Support:. Conduct thorough weekly payroll audits and reviews before processing. Accurately audit and manage Time Off Balances, PTO, and benefits documentation.. Process Optimization:. Identify and implement process improvements, using technology to optimize HR operations and resources.. Cross-Functional Partnership:. Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and Practice Success teams to promote efficiency and align HR data with organizational goals.. What You'll Bring. Experience:. 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on HRIS and HR operations, ideally in a high-growth healthcare and multi-state/national environment.. Technical Acumen:. Proven experience in data quality management, process optimization, and implementing or utilizing HRIS/ERP systems (Rippling experience strongly preferred).. Compliance Expertise:. In-depth knowledge of HR compliance practices (including I-9 verification, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII) and healthcare regulations (HIPAA).. Professional Traits:. Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discretion with sensitive data, including PHI (Protected Health Information)..
