In close partnership with Engineering and UX, you will identify high-impact opportunities, shape evidence-based solutions, and drive measurable improvements across your product area.. You'll own meaningful product surfaces that directly influence student success and company growth. Whether building the foundational systems that power our platform or optimizing the journey that brings new families to Miaplaza, you will translate user insights and data into clear strategy, prioritized roadmaps, and validated results.. We're currently seeking product managers to run the following teams at Miaplaza:. Platform Team: . This team builds and maintains the foundational systems and shared services that power all product teams. They focus on reliability, scalability, security, and developer experience to ensure our engineering organization can deliver value efficiently. Their work is often not user-facing, but it directly impacts product velocity and system stability.. Growth Team: . This team helps bring new users to Miaplaza and works on initiatives that drive customer acquisition and business expansion. They oversee the user journey before and during sign-up, including features that allow existing users to refer others to our platform.. Responsibilities (What you'll do):. Product Strategy. Develop and maintain a clear vision for your product area that guides prioritization and connects to the broader Product Vision & Strategy. Define the specific outcomes your team will target, ensuring alignment between user needs, business objectives, and the Product Vision & Strategy. Continuously evaluate and sequence discovery and delivery work based on strategic priorities. Product Discovery. Collaborate with UX and domain experts to conduct customer research, including interviews, to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Work with the analytics team to conduct data analysis to identify user behavioral patterns and abandonment triggers. Collaborate with educational content specialists to ensure academic effectiveness. Monitor feedback channels (exit surveys, customer requests, customer service tickets, Facebook support groups) to extract key insights on customer needs and behaviors.. Partner with UX on developing and maintaining detailed user personas based on behavioral research and data analysis. Identify the highest-impact problems and opportunities within your product area based on discovery insights. Product Shaping. Analyze how competitors and other products have addressed similar opportunities and extract actionable insights for product decisions. Define success metrics that tie user behavior changes to business outcomes (completion rates, engagement, retention). Work with your trio (Product Manager, UX Designer, Engineering Manager) to create experiments to validate hypotheses and test assumptions about user behavior and feature effectiveness. Document decision records with clear stakeholder sign-offs and conditions for moving forward. Work with your EM to break down complex features into phased launches with clear validation criteria. Partner with engineering on technical feasibility assessments and resource planning. Write comprehensive product requirements that clearly link business objectives, desired product outcomes, identified opportunities, and proposed solutions with supporting evidence throughout. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate tradeoffs, securing buy-in and sign-off from leadership and cross-functional partners. Product Delivery. Function as the subject matter expert on your product area, providing guidance and answering questions for cross-functional teams. Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the development process. Communicate feature releases and updates to all stakeholders including customers, support teams, and internal departments. Monitor test results and post-launch metrics to measure and learn from actual impact. Participate in post-launch retrospectives, document learnings for future cycles, and iterate based on learnings..
