We’re looking for a hands-on Android lead to join our Native tribe. You’ll be working in a team that deeply values native design, not one-size-fits-all solutions. You’ll guide a small team of Android engineers and work closely with iOS, design, product, and AI to shape how our mobile tools come to life.. We’re building out the next phase of our mobile org, moving from one squad to two. This role will play a key part in making that possible, taking on leadership responsibilities, helping establish scalable ways of working, and supporting the team as we grow.. What you’ll do:. Lead with purpose. – You’ll mentor a small group of Android engineers, help shape the direction of the work, and be a key partner to product, design, and engineering leadership.. Build high-quality native experiences. – You’ll lean into what makes Android great and build fast, intuitive features with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, and Coroutines.. Drive planning and architecture. – From system design to implementation, you’ll bring clarity to how we approach new features, such as conversational UI..
