Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator . is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and conducting quality assurance in the delivery of healthcare services. This role fosters impactful relationships, collaborations, and alignment within the Quality team, across the clinical delivery team, and with CMOs and other service providers, while advancing a risk-based quality and compliance program. Clinical Quality Assurance assesses and collaborates with other key functional team members to continuously improve the quality systems and processes in the deliver of healthcare services and programs. Performs hands-on clinical quality assurance including driving process improvements, ensuring compliance and quality assurance into the clinical delivery processes while establishing plans and best practices that identify and manage potential risks to patient safety, product quality, and data integrity. This role contributes to the management and follows up on quality issues and audits specific to clinicians, service providers, and clinical support.. What you will do: . Working with the guidance and support of the CMO, provide clinical quality assurance in the delivery of healthcare services directly related to HIPAA and other regulations or standards such NCQA.. Review, document and develop training on quality-related matters for delivery to clinical and clinical support teams.. Contribute to quality investigations by giving input on plans to resolve quality issues; oversee appropriate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans related to deviations and investigations.. Collaborate with Quality Management team members to propose, initiate, and prepare SOPs and other documents for HIPAA compliance and operational improvements.. Working with QA leadership, develop quality process and KPI’s to effectively manage HIPAA compliance, including document management, deviations, CAPAs, and effectiveness checks.. Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish metrics, track, and report trends regarding the company's quality status and compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards. Actively engage in the preparation of Quality Agreements and other quality-related project plans, charters, and presentation materials.. Ensures clear, concise, evidence-based rationales have been provided in support of all recommendations and/or determinations.. Ensures each review is supported by clinical citations and references when applicable and verifies that all references cited are current and obtained from reputable medical journals and/or publications.. Ensures the content, format, and professional appearance of the interactions, documentation and services are of the highest quality and in compliance with HIPPA, state / federal regulations and company standards.. Ensure that the appropriate board specialty has reviewed the case in compliance with client specifications and/or state mandates and is documented accurately on the case report.. Assists in resolution of customer complaints and quality assurance issues as needed.. Ensures all federal ERISA and/or state mandates are always adhered to.. Provides insight and direction to management on consultant quality, availability and compliance with all company policies and procedures and client specifications.. What you will bring: . 3–5 years of professional experience in complex QA environments involving clinical quality standards and compliance in the delivery of patient care, health and wellness services or similar. Healthcare and claims data experience preferred. Proven ability to develop effective QA logic and testing methodologies.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and keen attention to detail.. Critical thinking skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.. A strong curiosity and interest in healthcare technologies is a plus.. Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.. Required Qualifications:. . 3-5 years of experience in clinical quality assurance in the delivery of healthcare services directly related to HIPAA and other regulations or standards such NCQA.. 2-4 years of experience in a hands-on role performing clinical operational support including driving process improvements, ensuring compliance and quality assurance, conducting data analysis and reporting.. 2-4 years of experience optimizing clinical operations, enhancing efficiency and compliance, and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care is a strong plus.. Hands-on experience in quality investigations, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans, and development of clinical SOP’s. .
