Networking Engineer. to join our Cloud Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You’ll work closely with DevOps, Security, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure our services are fast, reliable, and secure across multiple cloud environments.. What You’ll Do - Responsibilities. Design and deploy cloud-based network architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).. Implement and configure network hardware and software components, including, but not limited to; routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, intrusion detection/prevention systems, security event and incident management.. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of deployed network solutions.. Monitor and optimize network performance, latency, and availability.. Automate network provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).. Implement and maintain network security policies and compliance standards.. Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.. Troubleshoot complex network issues across cloud and on-prem environments.. Create and maintain technical and functional design documentation for network configurations, network topologies, and procedures.. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.. What we are looking for – Qualifications. 5+ years of experience in network engineering or administration.. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).. Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.. Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools.. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.. Preferred Skills:. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).. Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting).. Understanding of SD-WAN and network virtualization.. Why Convey.
