You'll collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, Solutions, and Client Experience teams, along with departments such as Sales. Your primary focus will be translating requirements aimed at surpassing our competitors into actionable insights for our development cycle. This involves a deep understanding of use case-based workflows and converting them into product-specific requirements.. You will be bridging the gap between requirement gathering and ensuring these requirements drive value for Ontic, ultimately contributing to revenue generation. You'll also be documenting key competitive gaps and pain points, as well as converting use case-based workflows into product-specific requirements. Additionally, you'll analyze user behavior to inform decision-making processes. Role Focus. Ontic is collaborating with one of our Fortune 100 customers to focus on a new offering. In this role, you’ll be strategically expanding Ontic’s platform. Engaging deeply with our customer, you will maximize the opportunity by leading a strong team.. Key Responsibilities. The primary point of contact for clients to voice their needs and concerns regarding the product. This involves active listening, empathy, and effective communication skills to ensure all client requirements are accurately captured. Provide technical Product Management oversight for a complex product. Working with Engineering, build a development plan that ensures timely delivery and meets our partner’s business timeline. After initial partner launch, conduct thorough market research and gather feedback to identify areas, document key competitive gaps, or current client pain points. Bring insights to the design team on user experience behavior: Lead client interactions, in partnership with the user experience team, to understand their needs and test concepts and solutions throughout the development process.. Gather business requirements from internal stakeholders like success, sales enablement and solution teams. Translate requirements into features and user stories and present them in a structured manner to the engineering team. Represent the voice of clients and internal stakeholders to user experience and development teams throughout the solution development process. Analyze usage metrics of product and drive adoption of underutilized areas of platform. Preferred Qualifications. 7 plus years of SaaS Product Management with 1 plus years managing complex products that rely on integrations. New product full-lifecycle management experience. B2B experience, including working with Fortune 500 customers. Experience in the physical security industry with a focus on camera and access control systems. Experience working with India based Engineering & QA. Ability to travel to India 2 times a year. Technical Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience driving all aspects of the software development lifecycle with development teams - iteration themes, backlog grooming, story mapping, and user story creation. Experience defining/prioritizing detailed product requirements. Ability to think strategically and being able to articulate a long-term product vision and then roll up your sleeves to get things done. Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams, schedules, and decisions. Familiarity with tools like Domo, Pendo, JIRA. Ability to proactively monitor, analyze, and resolve release dependencies, issues, and risks. Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with great follow-through on projects. About You:.
