Lead AI Software Engineer (The Builder) – Part Time, Remote at Ayora. Remote Location: Global, Remote. Hybrid: Full Stack + Voice AI Logic. Experience: 2–5 Years. Role Summary. We are looking for a part time, fully remote AI Software Engineer who can contribute across full stack development and voice AI logic. You will work on our Nurse Dashboard (frontend) and help architect conversational voice agents powered by Vapi/Retell.. Responsibilities. • Build and maintain the Nurse Dashboard using Next.js or React. • Contribute to voice AI agent logic using Vapi or Retell. • Write backend Python components to support voice workflows and data integrations. • Use AI coding tools like Cursor to deliver fast, high quality code. • Work with product, engineering and clinical teams to clarify requirements. • Ensure performance, security, and reliability of user facing features. Core Stack. Python, Vapi/Retell (Voice), Next.js/React, Cursor (AI coding), REST APIs. What We’re Looking For. • 2–5 years hands on engineering experience. • Strong with React or Next.js, and confident with Python. • Previous exposure to conversational AI or LLM agent building is a plus. • Fast, independent, “AI-native” builder mindset. • Available part time, remote, with consistent weekly hours
