About the Role. The Principal Equipment Procurement Manager will manage all aspects of the equipment and systems required to build the world’s fastest GPU data centers, on time and under budget. Partnering with engineering leads, you will turn technical specifications into actionable sourcing plans and strong supplier relationships.. Focus. Deep category knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment (e.g. chillers, switchgear, UPS, PDUs).. Strong track record negotiating complex contracts with OEMs and suppliers, including price, lead times, and performance SLAs.. Experience managing FATs, witness testing, and coordination with engineering and quality teams.. Proficient in global trade mechanics: Incoterms, tariffs, bonded warehouses, and FTZ operations.. Skilled in risk management across supply chain disruptions, dual sourcing, and commodity volatility.. Hands-on experience with ERP, procurement platforms (SAP, Coupa), and data tools (Excel, Power BI).. Strong understanding of CapEx planning, BOM cost modeling, and inventory turn optimization.. Familiar with compliance standards and technical certifications (UL, CE, ISO) for critical infrastructure equipment.. Ability to manage vendor performance KPIs (e.g. cost/MW, DPPM) across multiple large-scale deployments.. Prior experience supporting hyperscale data center builds or high-reliability industrial environments.. About You. 10 + years procurement for hyperscale data center, semiconductor or industrial-equipment programs.. Demonstrated success closing large data center equipment contracts and aligning supplier incentives.. Strong grasp of Incoterms, tariff regimes, bonded-warehouse and free-trade-zone mechanics.. Fluent in Sheets/Excel modelling; ERP and analytics tools (Coupa, SAP, Power BI).. Benefits. Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity)..
