Vanta is seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships to lead and scale our most critical technology partners and major Value-Added Resellers (VARs). This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing and executing our strategy with AWS and global resellers—driving measurable revenue, expanding market reach, and shaping how Vanta goes to market through trusted partners.. You’ll manage a team of Partner and Channel Managers, build executive-level relationships with AWS and top VARs, and align cross-functionally to ensure success across co-sell, referral, and resale motions. This role will be foundational in defining the future of Vanta’s cloud and channel ecosystem.. What you’ll do as a Director, Strategic Partnerships at Vanta:. Lead & Grow Partnerships: . Own and execute Vanta’s AWS partnership strategy, while also expanding strategic relationships with global VARs.. Team Leadership: . Manage and mentor a team of Partner Managers and Strategic Channel Managers focused on revenue and pipeline generation.. Executive Engagement:. Build strong executive-level relationships within AWS and leading VARs, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point.. Go-to-Market Execution: . Oversee co-sell, referral, and resale initiatives with cloud and VAR partners to drive measurable revenue impact.. Cross-Functional Alignment:. Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and RevOps to deliver scalable partner programs and clear attribution.. Strategic Expansion:. Deepen alliances with AWS through joint GTM initiatives, while identifying opportunities to scale with additional enterprise resellers.. Operational Excellence:. Partner with RevOps and Systems to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and scalability of partner impact.. Thought Leadership:. Represent Vanta as a strategic voice within the AWS and VAR ecosystems, influencing how we scale with top-tier alliances.. How to be successful in this role:. 7–12 years of experience in channel sales, strategic partnerships, or business development, including direct experience with AWS and/or global VARs.. At least 3+ years of experience managing high-performing partnership or channel teams.. Proven success sourcing, negotiating, and scaling cloud or reseller partnerships in the security or compliance space.. Deep understanding of partner programs, reseller sales cycles, incentive models, and co-sell motions.. Strong track record of driving measurable revenue through alliances.. Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills.. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with a bias toward action..
