Senior Product Manager. to join our builders team, which owns the core publishing platform for creators - how they create email templates, landing pages, forms, newsletter sites, and more. You’ll help enable creators to make and send high-impact, visually appealing, on-brand, and delightful content at scale. This is the core of our business - every creator's journey with Kit starts with building something, and we want that experience to be fast, flexible, and delightful.. You'll own key product surfaces end-to-end - from identifying opportunities to shipping products that touch hundreds of thousands of Creators and more than a billion subscribers.. This is a full-time senior IC role ideal for someone who thrives on creating high quality products, aligning the company on a broader vision and strategy, measuring impact, and is excited to shape how Kit shows up in the world - literally, in every email, page, and form a creator publishes..  . Your support system. You'll report to . Katie Swett Miller. , our Chief Product Officer and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Success, and Sales teams. You'll partner across functions to ensure alignment between product experiences and go-to-market efforts, while having access to a peer group of Product Managers across Kit for support and mentorship..  . What you'll do. First Week:. Dive into Kit's product ecosystem, the Builders surfaces (email editor, landing pages, forms, newsletter site), and current tooling for measuring content quality and creator output. Attend Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) meetings with cross-functional partners. Get access and learn key tools like Linear, Mixpanel, Omni, and our design/prototyping stack.. First Month:. Build rituals. Dive into the products. Meet with a customer. Have shipped your first feature, partnering with engineering, design, and marketing closely.. First Six Months:. Have an established POV on how we win in the industry. What success looks like for the team and the product space. And have engineers and the broader company understanding progress towards those goals.. First Year:. Led major initiatives from conception through to successful launch. Impacted customers and the business..  .  . What will S.E.T. you up for success.  . Skills. Data-informed decision making and quantitative analysis. Strong product judgment and prioritization. Systems thinking and building for scale. Deep collaboration with design on craft and visual quality. Cross-functional influence and collaboration. Strong AI fluency. Comfortable using AI tools daily in your own workflow and evaluating where AI can meaningfully improve a product. Clear written and verbal communication. Bonus if you have Publishing or content creation expertise. Experiences. 6-9+ years in product management with significant ownership of a core, revenue-driving product area.. Proven track record building high quality, scaled, software - ideally including creation tools, editors, or content/publishing surfaces.. Deep experience with content creation online. Partnered closely with design to drive long-term vision for a product area, including hands-on involvement in craft and visual polish. Traits. High ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments. Indifference to visual/craft quality or treating design as an afterthought.  . Working hours and location. We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We work mostly on East Coast time—so if you're based on the West Coast of the United States, Europe, or Asia, you might have a few early mornings or late evenings. We do our best to keep things reasonable, but a little time zone juggling comes with the territory..  . Compensation + perks + benefits. Kit has standardized salaries based on position, no matter where you live. For this role, we're hiring at our level 4 ($173,000). Level is determined based on experience and our interview process..  . Perks + benefits include:. Profit Sharing. Kit equity. 401k with a 5% match. We cover up to $2,100 per month toward medical premiums, with dental and vision premiums fully covered. We offer Health Insurance plans through Aetna. $2,000 equipment allowance for your first two years, $1,000 budget every following two years. Company-provided laptops are issued to every Kit team member and are not included in the equipment budget. Individual learning + development budget ($3,500/year). Gender affirming benefits. Paid paid vacation: An after-tax bonus of $1,000 for taking five consecutive days of vacation where you’re fully unplugged from work. Ten (10) paid holidays a year. Two weeks of paid sick time each year, including mental health + well being days. Twelve (12) weeks paid parental leave and flexible scheduling in your child’s first year. Up to six weeks of paid bereavement leave, medical leave, and disaster after six months of employment, two weeks of each paid leave in your first six months. Winter Break Closure: Kit closes for a week at the end of December, giving everyone a collective break to enjoy the holiday season. . Essential support services remain available, with teams coordinating to ensure coverage during this period. Four-week, paid sabbatical after five years with the team.
