Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to older adults via telehealth. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and manage medications, and collaborate with therapists when needed. Use geriatric-specific assessment tools to inform treatment planning. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans. Complete documentation in a timely manner (with support from our AI documentation tools). Support patients through major life changes, such as bereavement, retirement, or cognitive decline. Contribute to Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) efforts by participating in team-based care when appropriate. Qualifications. MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency. Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine (required). Licensure in multiple states strongly preferred. Active DEA registration for Schedule II–V prescribing (required). Ability to support the Sailor Health team on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis (at least 15 hours per week). Experience working with older adults strongly preferred.
