Human Resources Generalist at American Operator. Remote Location: Remote - United States. American Operator is looking to place a Human Resources Generalist into one of our portfolio companies. This role is a is a dual-function leadership role responsible for KCT’s people strategy and financial performance. This role ensures accurate billing, strong resource management, and a high-performing, engaged workforce aligned with company values. This role is remote. . RESPONSIBILITIES. Lead global hiring, onboarding, and talent pipeline development. Partner with Delivery and PMO teams on resource planning and utilization. Monitor workforce health, timesheet compliance, and workload balance. Oversee performance reviews, feedback processes, and skills development. Run engagement programs and team gatherings. Ensure HR compliance and strengthen internal communications. Reinforce core values and culture across distributed teams. Prepare and issue accurate invoices aligned to contracts and completed work. Monitor project budgets, burn rates, forecasts, and escalate risks proactively. Track utilization, billability, and accounts receivable. Support financial reporting, forecasting, and expense validation. Maintain equipment and asset inventory. Ensure timekeeping accuracy and develop billing SOPs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS. 2+ years of proven experience in HR and finance leadership or generalist roles. Strong financial acumen, including billing, accounts receivable, and profitability tracking. Experience with talent acquisition, performance management, and workforce planning. Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action. Strong communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Experience in professional services, consulting, or project-based environments. Familiarity with resource utilization, project budgeting, and forecasting. Experience supporting distributed or global teams. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and escalate risks.
