As a Sr. Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to create performant and accessible UIs. This role requires a proactive mindset and ownership of code to propose and implement improvements.. Responsibilities. Develop and maintain user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.. Write and maintain component-level tests using React Testing Library.. Work with designers and backend engineers to translate requirements into performant, accessible UIs.. Prototype new ideas quickly and effectively.. Set measurable goals and consistently meet them.. Communicate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.. Conduct code reviews.. Requirements. 5+ years of professional software development experience.. Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.. Experience with React Testing Library.. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.. Ability to take ownership of code and implement improvements.. Proactive in spotting opportunities to enhance code quality, performance, and maintainability.. Ability to drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.. Bonus Points. Understanding of backend technologies and APIs to facilitate better collaboration with backend engineers.. Experience with RESTful or GraphQL API design.. Ability to refactor complex code and break down big tasks into manageable ones..
