We are looking for a highly adaptable Proposal Writer to support our early-stage capture efforts — writing proposals, SBIR/OTA submissions, white papers, and technical briefs — to help us secure contracts and grow. This role requires someone comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities, with hands-on writing, coordination, and business-development support.. Key Responsibilities. Prepare proposals for emerging solicitations to USG, to include SBIR/OTAs, and commercial opportunities.. Convert technical documentation (sensor specs, cloud architecture, deployment logistics) into clear, persuasive proposals.. Work directly with growth, engineering, and operations to collect content and shape solution narratives.. Manage proposal timelines, content development, compliance checks, and submission logistics.. Build and maintain a reusable proposal content library, boilerplate language, and past-performance summaries (as company history grows).. Assist with capture planning, early-stage bid strategy, and customer-facing materials (capability statements, one-pagers, slide decks).. Qualifications. 2–5 years experience in technical or government-related proposal writing or business development — ideally in a startup or technology environment.. Excellent writing, editing, and narrative development skills. Comfort learning technical sensor, data, or engineering concepts quickly..
