Join us in shaping the future of payments and commerce.. Which team will you be joining?. Our . Management. team enables merchants to streamline the management of their payments.. This team covers: Reconciliaton, Monitors, Refunds, Disputes, Workflows, Operations Automation and Account Management. Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you’ll join a team of backend and frontend engineers all working together alongside our Product team.. The team adopts a ‘you build it, you own it’ approach, working with infrastructure, doing their own testing and QA.. Our tech stack includes: Python, Typescript, React, AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform, amongst lots of other things.. 🔍 What will you be doing. Leading the design and implementation of high-quality, performant, and scalable frontend architectures using TypeScript and React.. Owning complex product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and design collaboration to production rollout and continuous improvement.. Partnering cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to define and deliver exceptional user experiences and developer journeys.. Driving architectural direction on the frontend, championing best practices around scalability, maintainability, and developer experience.. Setting technical standards and mentoring other engineers in modern development practices such as TDD, BDD, and CI/CD.. Optimising performance, accessibility, and usability across our customer- and developer-facing products.. Authoring and maintaining clear technical documentation to ensure the longevity and clarity of our systems.. Leading code reviews and technical discussions, fostering a culture of quality, learning, and continuous improvement across the team.. 👀 What we’d love to see. Deep expertise in frontend engineering with React and TypeScript, and a proven ability to design large-scale, performant applications.. Experience shaping technical direction - influencing architecture, tooling, and processes to accelerate delivery and quality.. Strong understanding of SDK development and developer experience, with a track record of building tools that enable external teams to integrate seamlessly.. Practical knowledge of cloud environments (ideally AWS) and how frontend systems interact within distributed architectures.. Leadership through influence: you elevate those around you, share knowledge generously, and drive collaboration across teams.. Strategic, proactive mindset. You thrive in ambiguity, identify opportunities for improvement, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical details into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences..
