Agentic Product Designer — UX/UI for Adversarial Adjudication at The Apex Project. Remote Location: Remote. About Us. Objection is building the truth infrastructure for the next century: fast, adversarial, AI-native adjudication at civilizational scale.. We are creating a platform for structured dispute resolution — adversarial fact-checking with ELO-rated participants, AI-assisted evidentiary analysis, and transparent methodology. We operate with complete editorial and institutional independence.. We run on a deliberate cadence: three weeks per month fully distributed, asynchronous, deep work; one week per month mandatory in-person for alignment, architectural debates, and strategic decisions. When remote, we operate on GMT time.. Each month, the company meets in the city we believe is the best at that time of year. Our current rotation includes Nassau (winter), New York City (spring and autumn), and London/Europe (summer). We follow seasonality and intensity. Strategy in Nassau. Commercial tempo in NYC. Institutional engagement cycles in Europe.. The Opportunity. We are seeking a product designer to architect the comprehensive user experience for Objection’s media claims dispute resolution platform. The interface must guide users through complex adversarial adjudication processes with confidence, clarity, and institutional trust — and the designer must build it with AI-native tools and workflows from the ground up.. This is not a conventional UX role. You will translate intricate procedural workflows and legalistic frameworks into seamless, frictionless digital interactions. You will minimize cognitive load for users engaging with a system designed to resolve disputes through structured argumentation, evidence evaluation, and AI-assisted adjudication.. This role is suited for professionals accustomed to:. Designing for complex, high-stakes, process-heavy products where clarity is non-negotiable. Transforming dense procedural or legal logic into intuitive user flows. Using AI tooling and agentic workflows to accelerate and augment design output. Working autonomously with structured written communication in distributed teams. The Role. As an Agentic Product Designer, you will:. Design the end-to-end user experience for Objection’s adversarial adjudication platform — from claim submission through tribunal output. Transform complex procedural workflows into seamless, frictionless digital interactions that minimize cognitive load. Establish a premium, high-trust visual language that reflects the institutional gravity of the platform. Develop and maintain a robust, scalable design system that ensures consistency across the entire product and accelerates development velocity. Conduct rigorous user research and usability testing to iterate on designs and solve real-world friction points. Partner closely with engineering and product management to ensure design fidelity is maintained from prototype to production. Embed inclusive design principles into the core of the product, ensuring the platform is universally accessible and equitable. Leverage AI-native design tools and agentic workflows to increase output, accelerate iteration, and systematize design operations. Who You Are. Required Experience. Professional product design experience with a strong portfolio in complex, data-rich, or process-heavy digital products. Demonstrated ability to take a product’s UX from architecture through to production-ready design.. Core Competencies. Deep empathy for the user, combined with the ability to impose clarity on complex systems. Precision in UI craft — you approach visual design with the rigor of an engineer and the sensibility of an artist. Systems thinking — you design for scalability, edge cases, and procedural integrity, not just the happy path. Fluency with AI-native design tools and a bias toward automating and systematizing design workflows. Comfort working autonomously in a distributed, asynchronous environment with clear written output. Experience pairing with developers to ensure implementation fidelity. Strong commitment to accessibility and inclusive design. A background in legal, fintech, govtech, or other high-trust, process-heavy domains is a strong advantage — but design instinct and rigor matter more than sector tenure.. What This Role Is Not. Not a brand-only or marketing design role. Not wireframing to someone else’s specification. Not visual polish applied after the product is built. Not a role where AI tooling is optional. This is designing the environment in which truth is adjudicated. The UX is the product. And the designer builds with AI, not around it.. Compensation & Structure. Compensation: $75,000–$125,000 annually, depending on seniority. Fully remote, with mandatory monthly in-person summits in rotating global cities (Nassau, NYC, London/Europe). Round-trip flights, hotel accommodation, and structured summit programming provided. Meaningful equity grants and annual performance bonus. We will calibrate seniority and scope to the right candidate. To Apply: . Submit your CV and a portfolio link. Include at least one case study that shows your process from problem framing through to shipped design — we want to see how you think, not just what it looked like. If you use AI tools in your design workflow, show us how.
