The Client Support Specialist is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for patients and families via phone, email, and chat; assisting with scheduling, intake, billing, and insurance questions; educating patients on services, platform use, and treatment next steps; troubleshooting issues with empathy and accuracy; documenting all interactions in the CRM/EHR; and escalating complex concerns to clinical, billing, or technical teams as needed.. What You Would Be Doing at Expressable. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families via phone, email, and chat. Support patients through scheduling, intake, billing, and insurance questions. Educate patients on available services, platform use, and treatment next steps. Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly with empathy and accuracy. Document all interactions in our CRM/EHR with attention to detail. Escalate complex issues to clinical, billing, or technical teams as needed. Contribute feedback on processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction. What You Bring to Expressable. High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years in customer or patient support, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or telehealth.. Proficiency with CRM/EHR systems, scheduling platforms, and communication tools (email, chat, phone).. Understanding of HIPAA, PCI compliance, and insurance terminology (EOBs, CTP Codes, Diagnosis Codes, Deductibles, Co-Pays).. Experience with HIPAA-compliant systems and handling protected health information.. Familiarity with health insurance processes (eligibility, claims, billing).. Comfort working in a fully remote environment with cross-functional teams.. Bi-Lingual Communication Skills (English/ Spanish) - highly preferred. KEY COMPETENCIES.
