About the role:. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive State Filings & Forms QA Analyst to join our Insurance Product team. This role will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of rate, rule, and form filings related to commercial property & casualty (P&C) insurance policies across multiple states and programs, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to support product development. Additionally, the Analyst will work with engineering teams to prepare forms for policy system implementation and perform quality assurance testing to ensure alignment with state-approved filings.. The State Filings & Forms Analyst will work closely with the Sr. State Filings Manager and internal teams to streamline filing processes, monitor regulatory changes, and manage compliance risk, ensuring products and rates support business needs while complying with regulatory requirements.. What you’ll do:. State Filings. Filing Preparation & Submission:. Draft and submit rate, rule, and form filings through the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF) and other state-specific filing systems.. Objection Management:. Monitor and address objections from state insurance departments, coordinating timely responses and revisions as necessary.. Regulatory Compliance:. Review state statutes, regulations, bulletins and checklists to ensure filings meet state requirements and align with regulatory standards. Stay up to date on changes in state regulations and legislation, analyzing changes for program impact and proposing action to internal teams as needed.. ISO Circular Tracking:. Regularly review and analyze ISO circulars and bulletins to assess their impact on existing products and understand required filing action, ensuring timely adoption or non-adoption in compliance with state requirements.. Documentation:. Maintain detailed records of all filings, approvals, and correspondence with state insurance departments. Update and maintain product libraries, forms lists, and product form/rate/rule manuals.. Product Development Support. Actively assist and work collaboratively with the Sr. State Filings Manager, underwriting, product, and actuarial teams to support new product development, state expansions, rate revisions, and program enhancements.. Assist in drafting and formatting simple policy forms and rules, assigning form and rule numbers and edition dates.. Research and analyze competitor filings. Identify opportunities to improve filing processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.. Policy Forms Testing & Quality Assurance (QA). Implementation Prep:. Prepare forms for policy system implementation in Adobe Pro, adding and formatting dynamic fields according to system requirements.. Forms Testing & QA:. Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing of policy forms to ensure accuracy, readability, and compliance with state-approved filings. Identify discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.. Ticket Management:. Create and manage form implementation and testing tickets, monitoring status and queues to ensure timely delivery.. Process Improvement:. Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of overall QA processes and frameworks.. About you:. Education:. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent work experience.. Experience:. Minimum of 2 years in state regulatory filings or a related role.. Technical Skills:. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Adobe Pro. Familiarity with SERFF and other filing systems is a plus.. Knowledge:. Strong understanding of state insurance regulations and filing requirements. Familiarity with Commercial Auto, General Liability and Inland Marine lines of business is a plus.. Communication:.
