As Head of Solutions Engineering, Americas, you'll own and scale Vanta's regional SE organization — driving technical win rates, accelerating deals, and shaping how the world's leading trust platform goes to market across North America.. Vanta's Solutions Engineering team sits at the intersection of sales, product, and customer success — translating deep technical knowledge into business value for prospects and customers. You'll work alongside GTM leaders who are deeply invested in the Solutions partnership and a global Solutions leadership team that raises the bar every quarter.. As the regional head for AMER, you'll own the SE motion across every segment — from Early Stage through Strategic — balancing hands-on leadership with the strategic vision needed to build repeatable best practices and scale a world-class team. This is a rare opportunity to own a region at a critical inflection point and to shape how Vanta goes to market across North America.. What you’ll do as a Head of Solutions Engineering at Vanta:. Revenue & Technical Win Rate. Own SE attach rate, win rate, and revenue per SE across all Americas segments — Early Stage through Enterprise and Strategic. Partner with segment Sales and Account Management leaders to ensure the right technical coverage at the right stage for every deal type. Drive workshop-led engagement that shortens sales cycles, improves forecast accuracy, and accelerates time to value. Build and maintain competitive positioning and technical proof points that win complex deals. Cultivate trust and credibility with prospects and customers throughout the technical evaluation, creating an experience that reflects Vanta's values and establishes the foundation for long-term customer success. Team Leadership. Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineers across Early Stage, Growth, Commercial, and Enterprise segments. Build a culture of speed, precision, and customer obsession where SEs show up first, not last. Partner with the Global Center of Excellence and Enablement to accelerate ramp time and elevate team performance. Attract, develop, and retain top technical talent across a fast-scaling AMER organization. Cross-Functional Partnership. Be a true partner to the AMER GTM Leadership — proactive, data-driven, and collaborative. Show up before you're asked.. Partner with segment Sales and Account Management Directors across Early Stage, Growth, Commercial, and Enterprise to optimize the SE motion for each. Work closely with Product to surface field signal and influence roadmap priorities. Align with Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and strong post-sale outcomes. Represent NAMER Solutions in global leadership forums with clear data and a strong point of view. Operational Excellence. Own the SE scorecard and operating cadence for AMER: weekly readouts, QBRs, deal inspection, and forecast reviews. Drive consistent logging and data hygiene across Salesforce, Gong, and Dust to make Solutions impact visible and repeatable. Define and maintain clear rules of engagement so every segment gets the right SE coverage at the right time. Contribute to Vanta's Global Solutions COE by building playbooks and best practices that scale across regions. Seek to design and build with AI to drive both efficiency improvements and higher-quality outcomes. How to be successful in this role:. 12+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting in SaaS, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role. Proven track record leading SE teams across multiple segments — ideally spanning both high-velocity SMB/Growth motions and complex Enterprise deals. Deep experience partnering with Sales leadership at the VP and Director level — not just supporting them, but co-owning outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build operational systems that make Solutions impact measurable and repeatable. Background in GRC, compliance, security, or identity is a strong plus. This role sits at the same leadership level as our EMEA and APJ regional heads — comparable tenure and scope of experience is expected. Success in this role is measured by: SE attach rate and win rate across NAMER segments; revenue per SE and ARR influenced by Solutions; sales cycle acceleration in SE-attached deals; SE ramp time and time to first deal; team retention, engagement, and development; and the quality and consistency of the Sales-Solutions partnership across all AMER segments.
