Open Source Engineer. who lives and breathes developer-first tooling and community engagement. You’ll own and expand Firecrawl’s open-source ecosystem—building core libraries, maintaining integrations, and scaling the projects that fuel our growth. This role blends engineering with community: you’ll ship high-quality code, guide contributors, and shape how developers interact with Firecrawl in the open.. Own and expand Firecrawl’s open-source SDKs, libraries, and integrations. Architect and maintain high-quality, developer-friendly APIs and tooling. Engage with contributors through GitHub issues, PRs, and discussions. Collaborate directly with founders to shape open-source roadmap and strategy. Run experiments for new integrations, frameworks, and developer workflows. Maintain project health: documentation, CI/CD, release management. Champion best practices for developer experience, clarity, and ease of adoption. Who You Are. Experienced software engineer with strong open-source contributions or leadership.
