Responsibilities. Your role is to develop new concepts and craft world-beating copy that convert traffic into eager and knowledgeable users of our products. You will:. Develop a consistent tone of voice for Reedsy across multiple channels;. Own and evolve our brand guidelines;. Help onboard writers to ensure consistency across every channel;. Write copy for our landing pages, lead magnets, email campaigns, newsletters and social media posts;. Come up with new creative ideas to convert our traffic;. Review copy performance (open rates, click-through, conversions) and use those learnings to sharpen future work;. Work closely with a team of content creators (writers, illustrators, animators, and YouTubers) on ad and modal copy, graphic assets, storyboards and video scripts; and. Bring a high standard to your own copy and honest, useful feedback to everyone else's.. Person Specification. Both a very analytical and highly creative individual;. Experience creating conversion copy for large-scale campaigns at a fast-growth startup;. A varied portfolio of copy, from short form to long form;. Ability to write with range, from playful campaign headlines to technical writing concepts;. Proven experience shaping brand guidelines and tone of voice;. Familiarity with the publishing industry and writing craft concepts;. Experience with email marketing, conversion optimization and A/B testing;.
