As an AML Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our customers and ensuring regulatory compliance through meticulous analysis and investigation of financial transactions. Responsibilities:. Ensure adherence to AML regulations and internal policies by continuously reviewing and updating procedures in line with regulatory changes and industry best practices.. Conduct thorough risk assessments of customers and transactions to identify and mitigate potential AML risks. Design, implement and refine AML Rules, customer risk rating and enhanced due diligence measures. Analyze AML data and trends to identify emerging risks and enhance detection capabilities. Proficiency in SQL and analytical tools (SAS, R, Python) is essential.. In-depth understanding of AML regulations, policies, and procedures. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and anti-money laundering laws.. At least 5 years of experience in AML compliance or financial crime prevention within financial institutions or similar environments.
