Our client is a family of SBA-certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified companies delivering IT, management consulting, and general construction solutions to the Federal Government and commercial sector.. They are seeking a results-oriented and detail-driven Financial Business Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making efforts across the organization. This position combines core financial expertise with business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, recommend strategic initiatives, and contribute to long-term growth. This is a full-time remote opportunity for someone preferably in the Eastern Time Zone.. Workplace Type:. Full-time remote in Eastern Time Zone. Compensation: . $80 - $95K per year.. Key Responsibilities:. · Analyze financial statements, trends, and historical data to build predictive models and reports.. · Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and scenario analysis.. · Work with cross-functional teams to gather business and financial requirements.. · Evaluate investment opportunities and financial risks; make data-driven recommendations.. · Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.. · Facilitate stakeholder discussions, translate business requirements into functional specifications.. · Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements using data insights.. · Support implementation of financial systems or tools; participate in user testing and training.. · Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment of financial analysis with broader business goals.. Required Skills and Qualifications:. · Minimum 3 years of experience in financial or business analysis roles.. · Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.. · Strong track record of translating business needs into financial insights.. · Proven ability to collaborate across departments and present findings to leadership.. · Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.. · Understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and data analysis techniques.. Preferred Qualifications:. · Experience working with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).. · Familiarity with project-based accounting or federal contracting is a plus.. · Experience supporting system or process improvement initiatives.. · Certifications such as CFP, CFA, CPA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA..
