Sales Manager at Talent Safari. Remote Location: Africa. The Company. Serengeti Spirits is a startup brand and manufacturer of craft-produced alcoholic spirits based on all the big animals of the Serengeti and across many different spirit types. All our products are flavoured with the tropical flavours resonant with the fruits found on the paradise of Zanzibar Island. Our products are filled with exciting flavours such as mango, passion fruit, coconut & banana. They are then encapsulated in our custom-shaped bottles, hand-painted animal head caps and Serengeti-themed labels. . We have a range of very striking and unique products to bring to market. We have an office in Tanzania and will be looking to export to a range of international markets, along with selling across the UK and Europe, via our new DTC website and by building connections with distributors. The company has ambitious plans to expand into RTD beverages through its sub-brand ‘Big 5’. We have an ambitious 5-year road map that, if we can implement correctly, will lead to us having a vast range of products, sold via a variety of avenues, all over the world. . Our micro distillery is based in a converted outbuilding at a large country house in the village of Braunston, in Northamptonshire. United Kingdom.. The Role. We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a background in sales, who is ready to begin a journey and exciting challenge to help get our business up and running. This will be the first full-time sales job hire within the company, so the successful applicant will be working alongside the owner and will be part of growing the team, regarding future staff and the business in general. . The role will be supported by additional part-time staff, both in the UK and Tanzania. The job will be 100% remote and based on outcome, and not tied to working hours and days. The successful applicant will need to assist in all areas of sales of our product range. This will include E-commerce sales outlets, retail, wholesale, via on-trade and off-trade and assisting the company on its export journey outside of the UK and expanding into international markets.. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  . To generate sales for the company, both in the UK & abroad.  . Build business relationships with prospective customers from a variety of different sales channels and areas, such as bar/restaurants, travel retail outlets & distributors.  . Manage the whole end-to-end sales process from generating the lead, to the after-sales service, once the product has arrived to the customer.  . Work closely with the new marketing manager to grow the brand and ensure that our marketing activities are supporting sales growth  . Any ad hoc requirements that may come as part of being a new company.. Qualifications:  . MUST be fluent in written & spoken English, with a persona that matches that of the company brand (information on our website). Required to be very hardworking and determined. Working in a start-up company in this field will require lots of dedication and patience.  . Experience of working in a sales role, ideally in retail, wholesale & export. Experience in the drinks industry is desirable.  . Tech-savvy and must be able to make use of a range of sales and automation tools. As a small company, we need to be resourceful.  . Self-motivated, ambitious, and interested in growing with an exciting start-up company. Interest in Spirits, cocktails & mixers is preferable. . Must want to progress within the business as the business expands.  . Friendly and personable to build business relationships as the ‘face’ of the company and to work as part of our ‘family team’.  . Must be very well presented, spoken and sociable, as the role will require networking and projecting the company in the premium segment of the market..
