Until now, people operations at Stora have been led directly by our COO. As we grow, this is no longer sustainable. We’re ready for someone to take full ownership of hiring, onboarding, culture, policies, and performance—all the things that keep our team strong and aligned.. This is our first dedicated People role. You’ll be hands-on from day one, bringing structure and care to how we hire, welcome, support, and grow our team. You’ll work closely with leadership to shape an environment where everyone can do their best work.. What you’ll do. Own and improve our hiring processes—from job specs to onboarding. Track and maintain performance and feedback rituals across the team. Lead on HR policies, benefits, contracts, and general people ops. Organise internal team events, meetups, and offsites. Be a sounding board and support partner to team leads and leadership. Help define and embed our company values and cultural principles. Identify gaps or risks in how we work and proactively fix them. What you’ll bring. Highly organised and self-directed—you don’t wait to be told what to do. A bias for action and clarity—able to balance empathy with effectiveness. Confident working across everything from recruitment to policy writing. Great with technology and digital tools—able to establish and maintain effective systems and processes. Strong written and verbal communicator. Comfortable working closely with leadership and coaching others. Values trust, transparency, and healthy team dynamics. Preferred experience. Experience managing people ops or HR in a startup or SaaS company. Familiar with building hiring pipelines, onboarding journeys, and remote-first culture. Why join Stora.
