Director of Demand Generation. to build and execute comprehensive strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth. This role combines traditional lifecycle marketing with demand generation responsibilities, owning the entire customer acquisition and retention funnel for our complex, multi-product platform.. You'll be responsible for creating sophisticated, data-driven marketing programs that generate qualified leads and guide prospects through our unique marketplace-driven sales process across three distinct product lines, each with multiple SKUs and diverse personas. This is a high-impact leadership role perfect for a strategic marketer who thrives in a fast-growing environment at the intersection of climate, technology, and finance.. Key Responsibilities. Team leadership and growth. Inherit and lead one direct report while immediately hiring two additional team members, with more to follow in 1H2026. Build and scale a high-performing marketing team that will grow significantly throughout 2026. Develop team members across multiple marketing disciplines including growth marketing, ABM, and outbound campaigns. Create career development paths and mentorship programs as the team expands. Demand generation and customer acquisition. Own end-to-end demand generation strategy across all three product offerings: transferable tax credits, debt financing, and tax & preferred equity. Drive qualified lead generation and pipeline growth through multiple channels and marketing motions. Oversee development and execution of sophisticated prospect targeting strategies for developers, manufacturers, investors, corporate finance teams, and financial institutions. Guide creation of demand generation programs tailored to different customer segments and transaction types. Multi-channel marketing execution. Lead growth marketing initiatives including digital advertising, content marketing, SEO, and conversion optimization. Direct account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for high-value enterprise prospects in clean energy and financial services. Manage cold outbound campaigns and sales development programs to generate new business opportunities. Lifecycle marketing and retention. Design comprehensive nurture programs that move prospects through our marketplace-driven sales process. Build marketing automation workflows that support our tech-enabled services model and complex transaction cycles. Create customer retention and expansion programs that increase transaction volume. Marketing technology strategy and AI integration. Architect and implement a modern martech stack that leverages AI and automation to scale marketing operations efficiently. Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools for content personalization, lead scoring, attribution modeling, and campaign optimization. What you bring . 8+ years of marketing experience with 3+ years leading demand generation and lifecycle marketing teams. Proven track record in B2B marketing with demonstrated results in customer acquisition and revenue growth across inbound, outbound, and ABM. Experience managing multiple marketing motions simultaneously. Strong leadership experience with ability to hire, develop, and scale high-performing teams. Analytical mindset with experience in marketing attribution, funnel optimization, and ROI measurement. Demonstrated experience building and optimizing martech stacks that include AI-powered tools. Proven track record of using AI to improve marketing efficiency, including content velocity, personalization at scale, and campaign performance. Preferred qualifications. Experience in financial services, investment banking, energy, or climate tech . Knowledge of marketplace business models and transaction-based revenue streams. Familiarity with tax equity, project finance, or clean energy industry dynamics. Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services marketing. What we bring. Backing, traction & brand. :.
