Head of Developer Relations. to build, lead, and scale our developer-facing efforts across community, content, advocacy, and ecosystem. You’ll be the voice of Polar. . Define and execute our developer relations strategy. From community building to content, events, and partnerships.. Create high-quality educational content: tutorials, guides, blog posts, talks, screencasts, and sample apps that showcase the magic of Polar.. Build strong relationships with developers building with Polar and amplifying their stories. Represent Polar at conferences, hackathons, and meetups. Speaking, mentoring, and evangelizing developer-first billing. Work with engineering team to shape APIs, SDKs, and developer experience based on real-world needs. Grow and nurture our contributor ecosystem across our open source repos. Engage directly with our community on Discord, GitHub, and Twitter/X. listening deeply, answering questions, and turning feedback into product improvements. Hire and manage a team long-term to scale successful efforts. We're hiring a Community Manager today that will report into you. Focusing on nurturing our existing & growing community while you spend more time on amplifying it externally.. What we're looking for. You have a strong profile amongst developers already. You're working on developer relations, advocacy or community already at a startup or scale-up. Strong technical background: you’ve built apps, shipped side projects, and worked as a developer yourself. World-class taste on what makes for an exceptional developer experience. Excellent communicator. Clear, authentic, and engaging in writing, on stage, and in video. Passionate about open source, developer tools, and empowering builders. Comfortable operating in high-autonomy startup environments where you set direction and execute hands-on. (Bonus) You’ve built and monetized side projects or run your own startup. How we hire.
