Design and build reliable, well-documented RESTful APIs consumed by internal teams and external customers at scale. Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs and external services, ensuring reliability, error handling, and graceful degradation. Collaborate closely with engineering peers and leads to review code, share context, and raise the technical bar across the team. Contribute to architectural discussions and help evaluate technical tradeoffs as systems evolve.  . Qualifications. 3+ years of professional PHP development experience in a production environment. Demonstrated experience designing and building RESTful APIs… versioning, authentication, error handling, and documentation. Strong MySQL skills - schema design, query optimization, and understanding of indexing and performance at scale. Experience working within large, legacy codebases… comfortable reading unfamiliar code and making safe, targeted changes. Familiarity with third-party SDK integration patterns and handling upstream service failures gracefully. Understanding of SOLID software engineering principles, testing strategies, and code review practices. Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development in a team environment.
