Join us to help patients reclaim their lives.. About This Role. We’re looking for a Business Systems & Analytics Engineer who thrives at the intersection of business operations, systems, and data. This person will design, connect, and optimize the tools and pipelines that power Bariendo’s decision-making, ensuring data flows seamlessly between systems and delivers clear, actionable insights. This role reports into our Head of Product.. You’ll flex across business systems (CRM, EMR, marketing, and finance tools), analytics environments, and automation workflows to solve cross-functional problems. The right candidate is tool-agnostic, loves learning new technologies, and can translate business challenges into elegant technical solutions.. This is a high-impact role for someone who’s equally comfortable writing SQL, configuring integrations, building dashboards, or advising leaders on how to scale smarter.. What You’ll Do. At Bariendo’s stage, the difference between good data and great data is the difference between guessing and scaling. You’ll be the connective tissue that turns scattered tools and spreadsheets into a cohesive data ecosystem — enabling faster, smarter, and more confident decisions across the company.. Own the data & systems stack: Connect, automate, and maintain integrations across tools (e.g., EMR, CRM, marketing, and operations platforms).. Analyze and interpret data: Pull, clean, and analyze datasets (typically thousands to tens of thousands of rows) to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and guide strategic decisions.. Design analytics pipelines: Build lightweight, reliable data models that support decision-making and reporting across teams.. Deliver business insights: Create dashboards and reports that make metrics simple, accurate, and actionable for non-technical stakeholders.. Optimize tools & workflows: Evaluate existing systems, identify inefficiencies, and recommend scalable solutions or automations.. Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with operations, finance, product, and marketing to define data needs and measure business outcomes.. Prototype new capabilities: Test new tools, build proofs of concept, and advise on the analytics roadmap as Bariendo scales.. What We're Looking For. 3–6 years of experience in analytics engineering, business systems, or data-focused operations.. Entrepreneurial and resourceful — comfortable wearing multiple hats, adapting quickly as priorities evolve, and finding practical solutions in a fast-moving environment. Deeply data-driven and AI-curious — you look for ways to apply modern tools to solve real business problems. Startup experience, ideally early stage, in fast-changing environments.. Strong fluency in SQL and at least one scripting or automation language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar).. Experience with modern BI and analytics tools (e.g., Hex, Metabase, Mode, or Looker).. Comfortable integrating APIs and working across data sources (e.g. Stripe, marketing automation, Google Sheets).. Proven ability to design scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks.. Deep curiosity about how the business works — you measure impact in outcomes, not just queries.. Tool-agnostic, systems-oriented mindset: you pick the right technology for the problem.. Strong analytical skills with experience exploring and interpreting structured datasets.. Proven ability to translate data findings into business recommendations or technical improvements.. (Nice to have) Experience with healthcare data, privacy standards (HIPAA), EMR, or patient analytics.. What Makes This Job Amazing. Mission-Driven Work: Help patients take the first step toward a healthier life through cutting-edge, non-surgical care.. Tech + Product Hybrid: Work at the intersection of engineering and business strategy.. Compensation with Impact: Competitive base salary plus commission and equity in a high-growth startup.. Hybrid Flexibility: Work three days a week from our Market Street office and two days remotely.. Close-Knit Team: Join a lean, collaborative team where your decisions and code make an immediate difference. Collaborate with clinicians, marketing, and operations to create a seamless patient journey from first touch to post-procedure care.. Startup Growth: Be at the ground floor of building the most effective weight loss sales funnel in healthcare.. Total Rewards. Competitive salary with equity in a high growth, seed-stage startup. Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision). 11 paid holidays, 15 personal vacation days, 10 wellness days. Hybrid work, 3 days in-office 2 days remote
