HeartStamp is a stealth-mode, pre–Series A startup building a generative‐AI platform for deeply personal, print-first product. Our MVP launches in December; our tactile packaged products follow soon a;fter. We’re establishing a cohesive brand system now and need a Brand Designer to turn strategy into a living identity across web, social, and early packaging. You’ll collaborate with our Founder/CEO, UX/UI lead, Tech Lead, and production stakeholders. Its also an opportunity to contribute ideas to our UX/UI. . About the role. You will own the brand foundations and visual system, then apply them to the MVP “skin,” marketing kits, and first packaging templates (inserts, boxes, discreet envelope seals, and kitting guidelines). The role is part‐time (10–20 hrs/week) with the option to structure core work as deliverables/milestones. Figma is our primary tool; Adobe CC (Illustrator/InDesign) is expected for packaging & print. You’ll work remotely with overlap with PST timezone.. Responsibilities. Brand system & book:. Define color, type, logo/lockups, voice/tone excerpts, usage rules, and system tokens; deliver a v1 brand book ready to scale. (Includes brand narrative & press kit materials.). MVP “visual skin”:. Translate the brand into a cohesive visual layer for web/mobile MVP (styles, components, states) and handoff-ready spec.. Marketing templates:. Produce social/email templates and launch assets; prep a lightweight content kit for teaser campaigns.. Packaging exploration:. Create early packaging directions and dieline‐ready artwork for inserts, boxes, product, and kitting; partner with production as vendors are selected.. Documentation & handoff:. Maintain a living style library in Figma; provide export packs and usage notes for engineering, marketing, and print partners.. Requirements. -5+ years brand/visual design experience (agency or product); strong identity work samples and multi‐touchpoint systems.. -Expert with Figma for brand libraries & UI skins; Adobe Illustrator/InDesign for print, dielines, and prepress‐ready files.. -Demonstrated brand book delivery (visual + voice/tone excerpts, application examples) and press kit creation.. -Portfolio showing social/landing assets and conversion‐oriented layouts for launches.. -Solid print production basics: CMYK/spot, bleeds, varnishes/foils, dielines, and proof workflows; comfort translating brand to packaging.. -Clear communicator; thrives in structured handoffs and remote collaboration.. Nice to have. -Experience in packaging for stationery/CPG (inserts, labels, folding cartons, envelopes, kitting) and “discreet”/stealth branding strategies for mailers.. -Familiarity with design tokens and design‐system thinking for scalable UI libraries.. -Launch‐stage work: building press kits, social calendars, and “teaser” assets for MVPs.. -Demonstrated success with UX/UI design on .
