Expertise in Rive. 3+ years. of experience with . Rive. , with confident use of the Design, Animate, and Data Binding / View Models workflows. Ability to build complex, reusable, and adaptive components, and to configure advanced State Machines with multiple layers, inputs, and triggers. Understanding of Rive ViewModel schemas (Number / String / Boolean / Enum), Property Groups, and converters. Ability to design and implement a clear “data → animation” pipeline. Willingness to write scripts (Luau / Lua‐style syntax) for custom logic.. Core Animation Fundamentals. Skill in balancing rich effects against hardware constraints without breaking the juicy feel of the animations. Strong sense of timing, spacing, weight, anticipation, and squash‐and‐stretch.. Handoff & Dev Collaboration. You understand how Rive assets run in real runtimes and can clearly document what engineers need - ViewModel schemas, State Machine inputs, and expected data ranges. You’re comfortable reviewing integration with developers and adjusting animations or data contracts so the final experience matches the design and stays maintainable.. What You Will Do. Animate sleek, juicy interactive UI elements and game screens. Your animations should feel punchy, rewarding, and celebratory.. Build and test interactive State Machines in Rive to hand over clean, dev-ready assets to our engineering team.. Collaborate closely with the Motion Lead to maintain visual consistency and with developers to troubleshoot runtime implementation.. Bonus Points If You Have.
