They are seeking a highly capable . Senior Graphic Designer. to lead the day-to-day creative execution of our digital marketing, membership, fundraising, editorial, and audience-growth initiatives. This is a hands-on senior role for a designer who can move comfortably between strategic concepting and high-volume production while maintaining a polished, consistent visual standard.. Reporting to the EVP, Growth & Membership, the Senior Graphic Designer will partner with marketing, editorial, fundraising, and leadership teams to create compelling work across social media, email, web, paid advertising, events, and print. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial instincts, exceptional design craft, sound production judgment, and the ability to guide and develop a junior designer.. What You’ll Do. Lead creative development and production for ongoing campaigns across email, social media, digital advertising, landing pages, membership initiatives, and fundraising appeals.. Create high-performing visual assets for YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other emerging channels.. Design platform-specific graphics, thumbnails, campaign toolkits, promotional materials, and editorial visuals that strengthen audience engagement.. Translate campaign briefs and editorial priorities into clear, effective creative concepts and finished assets on deadline.. Maintain and evolve organization's visual identity across digital and print touchpoints.. Manage a fast-moving production calendar aligned with major news cycles, campaigns, events, seasonal moments, and fundraising deadlines.. Direct, review, and mentor a Junior Graphic Designer while delegating work effectively and maintaining quality standards.. Collaborate with editorial teams to develop graphics that elevate articles, newsletters, video programming, podcasts, and other content.. Build efficient workflows, templates, asset libraries, and brand documentation that improve speed and consistency across the team.. Use AI-enabled creative tools thoughtfully to expand production capacity while protecting brand quality, accuracy, and originality.. Support print and event-design needs, including donor communications, publications, collateral, and presentations.. Present creative recommendations, project status, and resource needs clearly to marketing leadership.. What You’ll Bring. Five or more years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within media, publishing, marketing, nonprofit, advocacy, or a fast-paced content organization.. A strong portfolio demonstrating digital campaign work, social media creative, brand systems, and high-quality visual storytelling.. Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.. Working expertise in Figma, Canva, and collaborative digital-production workflows.. Strong command of typography, composition, color, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.. Deep familiarity with social-platform specifications, paid-media formats, and creative best practices across owned and paid channels.. Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.. Demonstrated ability to mentor, review, or lead the work of other designers.. Strong communication skills and the confidence to explain design decisions to both creative and non-creative partners.. Experience incorporating AI image-generation or design-assistance tools into an efficient, responsible production workflow.. Preferred Qualifications. Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video editing in After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.. Experience building and maintaining a scalable design system, template library, or digital asset-management process.. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, web design, or landing-page production.. Prior work in a newsroom, publishing organization, agency, or other high-velocity news-cycle environment.. Interest in current events, politics, public policy, media, or the conservative movement..
