Motion Designer / Video Editor. who can help bring those ideas to life across video, motion, and social.. This is a part-time role starting at . 15–20 hours per week. , with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the role and agency needs evolve.. You’ll work closely with our creative team to develop and produce video and motion content for a range of clients and projects. We’re looking for someone who can take a creative idea, footage, or rough direction and turn it into polished, engaging work. Someone who has strong creative instincts, works independently, and cares about every detail.. What You’ll Do. Edit video content for social, digital, campaigns, presentations, and other client needs. Create motion graphics, animation, typography, transitions, and visual effects. Bring creative concepts and storyboards to life through video and motion. Work with footage, photography, graphics, music, and other assets to create compelling edits. Develop social-first and short-form video content designed to capture attention. Adapt video content across platforms, formats, and aspect ratios. Collaborate closely with creative directors, art directors, writers, and strategists. Participate in creative conversations and bring your own ideas and perspective to the work. Take projects from initial concept through final delivery. Take feedback and make thoughtful revisions efficiently. Manage project files, footage, assets, and deadlines independently. Handle basic color correction, sound mixing, and finishing. Stay current with video, motion, social, and cultural trends. Explore AI and emerging creative tools that can improve the work or workflow. What You Bring. 3–5 years of professional experience. in video editing, motion design, animation, or a related creative role. A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating editing, motion, visual storytelling, and creative range. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Excellent instincts for pacing, timing, composition, typography, and visual storytelling. Experience creating engaging social and short-form video content. Ability to take a creative brief or direction and independently develop a strong execution. Strong attention to detail and a high bar for creative quality. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Curiosity and a willingness to experiment, learn, and push the work further. Bonus If. You have experience with 2D animation, kinetic typography, or advanced motion graphics. You have experience with social-first and vertical video. You have experience with sound design, color grading, or finishing. You have production experience or an understanding of shooting and camera fundamentals. You know your way around Figma or other creative tools. You have experience using AI video and creative tools. You have worked in an agency or fast-paced creative environment. You have a strong sense of culture and understand what makes people stop scrolling. We love great creative.
