Casino & Sportsbook UI/UX Designer at lumix. Location Information: Remote. . ABOUT THE ROLE. We are looking for a hands-on Product UI/UX Designer to shape the player-facing experience of a B2C casino and sportsbook across desktop and mobile web. This is a long-term product design role—not front-end development, slot-game illustration, or banner-only production.. CREATIVITY IS THE CORE OF THIS ROLE. We need someone who can originate distinctive visual concepts, not simply rearrange templates. You should be able to take a product brief, explore multiple directions, explain your decisions, and turn the strongest idea into a cohesive, intuitive interface.. Our design direction is clean, premium, familiar, and comfortable to use. We value thoughtful typography, spacing, hierarchy, reusable components, subtle motion, and strong attention to detail. The product includes Korean-language layouts, but Korean fluency is not required.. WHAT YOU WILL DO. • Propose original visual directions and interaction ideas that give the product a recognizable identity.. • Design responsive homepages, casino lobbies, game cards, search, filters, promotions, and navigation.. • Design sportsbook event lists, odds displays, markets, live states, and bet-slip interactions.. • Improve sign-up, account, wallet, transaction history, notifications, messages, and promotion screens.. • Turn user flows into polished screens, interactive prototypes, and reusable Figma components.. • Define desktop/mobile behavior and hover, focus, selected, disabled, loading, empty, and error states.. • Collaborate with the product owner and developers on implementation details and visual QA.. • Occasionally support promotional banners and lightweight UI motion; product UI remains the primary focus.. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR. • Strong creative judgment and a portfolio showing original concepts, exploration, and polished execution.. • 2+ years of hands-on web or product UI/UX design experience.. • At least one relevant casino OR sportsbook website project; experience in both is a plus.. • Strong Figma skills: Auto Layout, components, variants, variables/styles, prototypes, and organized developer handoff.. • Solid responsive design, typography, information hierarchy, and interaction design skills.. • Working English for written communication and design discussions.. • Ability to explain exactly what you personally owned and why you made key design decisions.. NICE TO HAVE. • Experience with Korean or other Asian-market consumer interfaces.. • Design systems for content-rich products.. • Micro-interaction prototypes, subtle motion, or promotional banner design.. • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS constraints; coding is not required.. ENGAGEMENT. • Long-term, fully remote contract with full-time-equivalent availability.. • Monthly compensation: USD 1,500–2,000, depending on portfolio quality and relevant experience.. • Candidates worldwide are welcome; working-hour overlap can be discussed.. • Shortlisted candidates may be invited to a small paid trial before the long-term engagement.. HOW TO APPLY. Share 1–3 relevant projects and briefly explain:. 1. Which screens, components, and design decisions you personally owned.. 2. One original idea you introduced, the alternatives you explored, and why you chose the final direction.. 3. Your experience with casino lobbies, sportsbook odds/markets, bet slips, wallets, or other relevant flows.. 4. Your availability and expected monthly compensation.. Desktop/mobile examples and an NDA-safe Figma walkthrough are welcome. AI-assisted work is acceptable, but you must demonstrate your own design decisions and editable, production-ready work. Generic templates, banner-only portfolios, and AI-generated screenshots alone are not sufficient.. .
