Marcos. to work across backend, infrastructure and mobile/web when needed. A Product Engineer at JOIN is someone who’s just as happy debugging an infrastructure fault as they are jumping into the mobile app when the team needs an extra pair of hands.. . We’re not looking for a specialist in one language or framework. We’re looking for a strong language-agnostic engineer who is interested in picking up whatever the problem needs them to.. . 💡 What you’ll actually do. . . Designing, building and shipping systems that power JOIN.. . Working with our databases and infrastructure to keep things reliable as we scale.. . Jumping into mobile or web frontend work when the team needs it.. . Owning your work end to end from prototyping to production release.. . Using AI tools (including coding agents) to work faster and better: we give you the freedom to use them how you see fit. . . . . 🔭 Who thrives in this role. . . Experienced engineer:. you’re not defined by one language or framework, you figure out what’s needed and get on with it.. . Full stack with a bias toward backend:. You are comfortable across backend and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), not afraid of infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, Docker, Terraform); You have some exposure to TypeScript/Node.js, Java or Kotlin, and React/React Native, or native iOS/Android.. . You regularly release to production. and know what that responsibility looks like.. . You work independently. , without needing hand-holding. . Uses AI. to complement their skills and go further, not to skip understanding of what’s being built.. .
