As an Engineering Manager I at StackAdapt, you will be directly involved in the development of our advertising platform, producing production level code that will have a direct impact on the success of our product. You will work with large data sets and have exposure to modern tech stacks around GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL and more. We're seeking a technical Engineering Manager I to help lead our growing full-stack engineering team. The digital advertising industry is riddled with interesting challenges as we continue to scale out our platform with a fast growing list of customers. . . This EM1 position offers a distinctive hands-on management opportunity, allowing you to oversee a small team of highly skilled engineers while concurrently serving as a technical lead on core projects.. . The Execution Team is responsible for building and improving campaign editors that are the most important parts of the platform to help clients create new campaigns and tie all aspects of their bidding strategy together. The team consistently expands campaign channels, builds new campaign features, and provides customers with more strategies in their campaigns. We also manage StackAdapt public GraphQL API which allows for programmatic campaign execution. . What You'll Be Doing:. . . Lead and mentor a team of 5+ talented engineers within full-stack platform engineering. . Truly care about the team and product. Make a positive impact on the team's productivity and growth. . Act as a hands-on manager and participate in project design and implementation within this team and other teams. Participate in project system design and implementation.. . Plan roadmap, engineer resources and hiring/. . Promote software development best practices and conduct rigorous code reviews. . Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to ensure requirements and priorities align. . Conduct interviews to attract and identify potential high-performing candidates. . Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and ensure company objectives are achieved. . . . . What You'll Bring to the Table. . . Proven track record of delivering results and leading growing high-impact teams. . At least 5 years experience in full-stack software development in web technologies and architecting scalable systems in a successful high-growth technology company. . At least 1 years of leadership experience, including essential people management experiences listed above. . You have in-depth experience with. Typescript, React and GraphQL. . You have experience working with modern frontend libraries and frameworks (eg.. Redux, Zustand, Jes. t). . You have experience in modern full-stack frameworks (e.g. Django, Ruby on Rails) . . Experience scaling a . Ruby on Rails. backend architecture is a plus. . Experience in . AWS . is a plus. . A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (we have not forgotten our basics!) - data structures, system design, cloud computing, full-stack development etc.. .
