Junior Software & Manufacturing Operations Engineer. to serve as the on-site technical representative at the company’s contract manufacturing facility in Coral Springs, Florida.. . You will act as the bridge between internal engineering teams and the manufacturing partner—ensuring systems are built correctly, configured properly, tested thoroughly, and shipped on schedule.. . Serve as the company’s on-site technical liaison with the contract manufacturer. . . . Monitor daily builds to ensure adherence to schedule and service-level agreements (SLAs). . . . Maintain accurate production records in the official Production Tracker / Logbook. . . . Proactively identify and escalate risks, delays, or production bottlenecks. . . . . Software Configuration & Integration. . Unit Configuration. . . . Deploy and configure the company’s software stack onto production systems. . . . Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT). . . . Validate system readiness prior to shipment. . . . Tablet Configuration. . . . Remotely provision and configure companion tablets. . . . Perform integration and connectivity testing. . . . Ensure full production readiness before release. . . . Quality Control & Assurance. . . . Perform hands-on QC inspections of finished electronics systems. . . . Verify compliance with build specs, functional standards, and documentation requirements. . . . Document defects and coordinate rework with the manufacturing team. . . . Identify recurring issues and provide structured feedback to engineering. . . . Logistics & Inventory Coordination. . . . Coordinate outgoing shipments of finished goods, replacement units, and components. . . . Manage return workflows for defective hardware. . . . Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages. . . . Collaborate with the Global Supply & Logistics Manager to maintain production continuity. . . . Cross-Functional Communication. . . . Act as the communication bridge between manufacturing and internal teams (supply chain, hardware, and software engineering). . . . Communicate engineering updates and build process changes clearly and accurately. . . . Surface manufacturability challenges and improvement opportunities. . . . Required Qualifications. . . . 1–2 years of experience in software development related to robotics, electronics, or embedded systems. . . . 2+ years of experience with Python and shell scripting. . . . Strong Linux experience (Ubuntu preferred). . . . Experience with remote access protocols such as SSH and VNC. . . . Solid networking fundamentals (diagnosing connectivity issues, configuring routers/switches, troubleshooting VPNs). . . . Experience performing quality control or functional testing on electronics. . . . Familiarity with production workflows, scheduling, or work orders. . . . Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. . . . Preferred Qualifications. . . . Spanish language proficiency. . . . Experience coordinating shipments or logistics workflows. . . . Experience in a factory, manufacturing, or assembly-line environment. . . . Knowledge of inventory management practices or ERP systems. . . .
