The Commissioning Technician II serves as a senior-level field technician responsible for leading the installation, configuring, and deployment of complex robotic systems, troubleshooting high-level technical issues, and mentoring junior team members. These technicians work independently to coordinate installation activities, ensure system performance, and uphold PAC’s high standards of quality and safety..  . . This role is suited for experienced professionals with deep technical expertise and leadership ability in robotics or industrial automation environments..  . . Key Responsibilities.  . . . Lead onsite deployment and commissioning of robotic systems.. . Perform advanced troubleshooting and system diagnostics.. . Coordinate with multiple trades and client teams for installation planning.. . Calibrate, test, and validate system performance to specifications.. . Interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.. . Train and mentor Apprentices and Tech Is.. . Provide technical feedback and recommendations to engineering teams.. . Ensure adherence to all safety standards and field best practices.. . Travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S. (potentially Canada)..  . . . Qualifications.  . . . HSD or GED. . Technical training in Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.. . 5+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or complex industrial equipment installation.. . Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems integration.. . Strong understanding of BMS, FLS, and industrial networking fundamentals.. . Proven ability to lead small teams or coordinate subcontractors in the field.. . Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.. . Proficiency interpreting and updating technical documentation..  . . . Preferred Certifications:.  . . . OSHA 30. . Amazon Red Badge (training provided). . First Aid/CPR. . Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.  . . . Preferred Experience:.  . . . Prior work in Amazon Robotics or high-volume fulfillment environments..  . .
