Position Summary. . The HR Business Partner – Operations is a strategic partner to IEM’s Operations business unit, providing HR guidance and support to maximize workforce effectiveness, drive operational performance, and foster a high-growth, high-performing culture. This role exists to align HR strategies with operational goals, support talent development initiatives, and ensure an exceptional employee experience across manufacturing and operations teams. The HRBP partners with leaders to drive workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning, contributing directly to IEM’s mission of delivering complex, high-quality manufacturing solutions at scale.. . This person brings credibility, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution skills, and excels at building trusted relationships with managers and employees alike.. . Key Responsibilities. . . Partner with Operations leaders to provide HR guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.. . Support talent development initiatives, including talent reviews, 9-box assessments, and succession planning.. . Analyze workforce metrics and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.. . Coach managers on employee engagement, performance improvement, and career development strategies.. . Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations and escalations.. . Collaborate with HR peers to streamline processes and implement HR best practices across Operations.. . Build credibility and trust with Operations teams, providing guidance on organizational design and workforce effectiveness.. . Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company HR policies.. . Support operational culture initiatives to drive engagement, retention, and high performance.. . Participate in HR meetings to share insights, align strategies, and drive continuous improvement.. . .  . . Qualifications. . . Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred). . 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or HR Generalist roles. . 3+ years managing complex employee relations issues. . Experience supporting Operations and Manufacturing business units. . Experience in high-growth organizations and scaling HR programs. . Strong knowledge of talent management processes, performance management, succession planning, and organizational design. . Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills. . Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. . Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality. . . Location. . This role is eligible for remote and will require up to 25% travel to visit IEM manufacturing and operations sites or for trainings and conferences.
