As a . Financial Operations Specialist. , you will be an integral part of our Finance team! No day will be the same. You will be responsible for translating business priorities and requirements to financial outcomes for the Finance department. . . . . How You'll Make An Impact. . . . Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities and monitor the company's general ledger to ensure accurate and timely month-end close. . . Lead the ASC 606 revenue determinations and accounting treatments. Collaborate across teams to review revenue recognition policies based on contract reviews. . . Work closely with the Senior Director of Accounting to lead and complete annual external audits and tax filings. . . Assist with the development, review, and updating of accounting policies, procedures, checklists, and related documentation. . . Review, approve, and prepare account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy of postings. . . Review and process all intercompany and subsidiary transactions. . . Coordinate with management and employees to ensure compliance with accounting policies. . . Support stock compensation reporting requirements. . . Identify and lead process improvement opportunities to increase effectiveness, and timeliness of financial reports. . . Mentor and support staff regarding the handling of non-routine transactions. . . Support cross-team special projects. . . . . The Expertise Required. . . . Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience. . . . . 3+ years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or Accounts Payable . . Experience in the clinical research industry a plus . .
